Sicarm Trophy

This project consisted in the development of the new trophy design, which would be used during the awards ceremony in competitions promoted by Sicarm company. Among different proposals of ‘trophies’ presented during this contest, our team was the winner. As a result, our trophy has been used to reward the winners of VII International 3D Digital Animation Contest in 2010, and VIII International 3D Digital Animation Contest in 2011.

Based in the region of Murcia (Spain), Sicarm is a company focused on the sector of new technologies and innovations in the computer and telecommunications areas. Apart from countless participation in different events, projects, talks, workshops and courses on new technologies, this company also organizes competitions. To deliver an award for the finalists of these competitions, Sicarm have organized a contest to design a new trophy for that purpose. The main link to respect was to create an object that could represent the activity of the company, while maintaining a reduced manufacturing cost. For this reason, the company proposed using materials such as PMMA or similar and CNC technology for its manufacturing.
